How to Prepare for a Professional Cleaning From Carpet 1st
Preparing for a professional cleaning from Carpet 1st is actually very simple....and it should be. When we arrive at you door, you should be able to sit back and relax or use the time to do what you want to do.
There are only a couple of items that should be taken care of before we arrive at the door:
- Breakables and Knick-Knacks and Family Heirlooms: In order to help protect your household valuable, we ask that you remove any breakable, knick-knacks and family heirlooms from the areas to be cleaned.
- Our Family Friends...our Pets: Any pets in the household during the cleaning should be placed in an area where they will be out of the way during the cleaning.
- Children: It is extremely important that the children of the house will not be able to explore during the cleaning process or possibly touch our cleaning equipment and cleaning solutions. Our equipment can become extremely HOT. If children are unattended and are able to try and touch our equipment during our time in your house, it is our policy to immediately stop cleaning and take the equipment out of the house until the children can be attended to. We have children in our family as well and we will take any precaution necessary to protect every member of your household.
- HVAC System: To assist in expiditing the drying process, it is important that the temperature control on in your house is set to 72 degrees during the Summer months and 69 degrees during the winter months. If the outside weather permits (65 - 75 degrees and no rain)...all windows can be cracked approximately 1 inch if as well.
- Special Note On Furniture Moving: Items that we do not attempt to move are pianos, beds with support brackets, full bookcases and pieces that have electronics inside. If you would like to have items such as bookcases or entertainment centers moved, please be sure to remove the books from the bookshelves and/or any electronics from the entertainment center.
As for the rest of the cleaning, sit back and relax...we can take care of the rest.
